CR Plumbing was investing across six marketing channels simultaneously. Google Ads, Meta, Local Services Ads, Bing, SEO, and GA4. yet had no way to connect that marketing spend to actual field outcomes. Job records and technician performance lived in HouseCallPro. Revenue and invoicing lived in QuickBooks. Each marketing platform reported on its own metrics in isolation.
Leadership could not answer the questions that matter most to a growing home services company: Which marketing channel produces the highest-value booked jobs? What is the true cost per acquired customer? How does the estimate conversion rate differ by job type, technician, or booking source? What is the actual return on each advertising dollar spent? Without a unified data environment, these questions went unanswered, and budget decisions were made on instinct rather than evidence.
• No applicant tracking system — candidates managed informally across emails, texts, and verbal notes.
• Inconsistent hiring process with no role-specific assessment or structured evaluation criteria.
• No enforcement of trade license or driver's license collection before hire.
• Manual candidate communication, confirmations, scheduling, and document requests handled by hand.
• Marketing spend data isolated across six disconnected platform dashboards.
• No connection between marketing channels and downstream job outcomes or revenue.
• QuickBooks financial data completely siloed from operational and marketing systems.
• Leadership lacked any consolidated view to make data-driven decisions.
Alyne Group deployed a fully configured Zoho Recruit environment to transform CR Plumbing's hiring from an informal, manual process into a structured, role-specific, and largely automated pipeline. The solution covers the full candidate lifecycle from application submission through to offer acceptance.
Distinct pipelines were built for each role category plumbing, HVAC, and electrical technicians, administrative staff, and dispatch/support. Each pipeline reflects the unique evaluation stages and criteria for that role, ensuring candidates are assessed against the right requirements rather than a generic process.
Async video screening was configured per role so candidates respond to role-specific questions before advancing to a live interview. Written assignments and technical assessments filter candidates on skills early in the process, protecting the hiring manager's time.
Automated SMS workflows handle: application confirmations, delivery and acceptance of employment terms, requests for required documentation, and interview scheduling links replacing what was previously managed by hand.
Trade license (role-dependent) and driver's license submission are built into the pipeline as a mandatory pre-offer checkpoint. No candidate can advance to offer without verified documents on file. All documentation is stored within Recruit against the candidate record, creating a permanent compliance log.
Portal with active job postings by role; offer letter templates with e-signature via Zoho Sign; interview scheduling integration; pipeline health and time-to-hire reporting dashboards.
Alyne Group designed and built a Zoho Analytics environment that aggregates data from HouseCallPro, all active marketing platforms, and QuickBooks into a single reporting layer. For the first time, CR Plumbing's leadership can see the complete picture of how marketing spend translates to field activity, estimates, booked jobs, and realized revenue in one place.
Jobs, estimates, technician assignments, job status, service categories, booking sources, and customer records pulled into Analytics as the operational backbone.
Google Ads (including GCLID-level attribution), Meta Ads, Local Services Ads, Bing Ads, GA4 web traffic, and organic SEO data all flowing into the same workspace.
Invoice and revenue data connected to close the loop between spend and realized income, enabling true channel-level ROI calculation.
This engagement required integrating Zoho Analytics with six external platforms. Each connection was established to bring a specific data domain into the unified reporting environment.
Primary field operations platform jobs, estimates, technicians, booking sources, and customer data synced into Zoho Analytics as the operational data layer
Financial and invoice data connected to Analytics to tie marketing and operational data to actual revenue, enabling true P&L-level attribution
Campaign, ad group, and keyword-level spend, click, and impression data including GCLID tracking to connect ad clicks to booked jobs in HouseCallPro
Facebook and Instagram campaign and ad-level spend, reach, and lead data integrated for cross-channel marketing performance comparison
Google LSA lead volume and cost-per-lead data by service type brought into Analytics alongside other paid channels
Paid search performance data from Microsoft Advertising is integrated to complete the paid channel picture
Website session data, traffic sources, and conversion events connected to cross-reference digital marketing activity with downstream job bookings
At the conclusion of both workstreams, CR Plumbing operated with a fundamentally different infrastructure for both talent acquisition and business intelligence than when the engagement began.
The combined effect of both work streams materially changed how CR Plumbing operates and makes decisions. The table below summarises the key areas of business impact.
| Metric / Area | Impact |
|---|---|
| Hiring Consistency | Every candidate now moves through a documented, standardised process, reducing risk, improving quality, and making it possible to scale the team without scaling the chaos. |
| Compliance & Documentation | Trade and driver's license collection is automated and enforced, eliminating the compliance gap that existed in the previous ad-hoc hiring process. |
| Hiring Manager Efficiency | Automated SMS, async video screening, and structured stages return hours per week to hiring managers previously spent on manual coordination. |
| Marketing Attribution | CR Plumbing can now connect ad spend on any channel directly to booked jobs and invoiced revenue, identifying what is and is not working. |
| Budget Decision Quality | Marketing and operational budget decisions are now made using real cross-platform data rather than individual platform metrics or gut instinct. |
| Reporting Efficiency | All key performance data is accessible in one platform, eliminating the need to log into HouseCallPro, QuickBooks, Google Ads, Meta, LSA, Bing, and GA4 separately. |
| Financial Transparency | QuickBooks revenue data joined with operational and marketing data provides true ROI visibility by channel, job type, and time period. |
| Technician Accountability | Individual technician performance—including revenue generated, estimate conversion, job completion, and callbacks—is now visible and trackable. |
